Service Technician / Trailer Mechanic
Job Summary:
Light mechanical and welder helper repair service on tank trailers, tank trucks, portable tanks.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, disassembly, assembly, service, repair of components parts and systems to the trailers, truck chassis, truck bodies and tanks. May also include some material handling, grinding, drilling, and work in confined spaces. Must possess relevant skills and knowledge that consist of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulics. Work duties are under the direction and supervision of the department supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion. Frequently lift up to 10 pound parts.
Other Requirements:
Problem solving, ability to communicate with appropriate individuals. Good team relations and communication skills are essential. Confined space entry.
Experience:
High school graduate desired. Relevant work experience.
